Giant of Light

Appears in Episode: 12, 21

A giant humanoid object observed during the Second Impact in Antarctica. This object is later identified as Adam, the First Angel. Although it's entire body is shrouded in light, Adam has a distinctive form similar to that of the Evangelion Units, with a dark circular shape in it's chest, typically considered to be it's Core.
