Human Instrumentality Committee

A secret committee established following the Second Impact to oversee the progress of the Human Instrumentality Project. This committee is chaired by Kiel Lorenz and has four other members believed to be from America, France, Britain, and Russia.

Although this committee (like many other ventures such as Gehirn, Project E, and NERV), appears to be funded by the United Nations, it is in fact an extension of SEELE. NERV Commander Gendo Ikari reports directly to this committee. As the Human Instrumentality Project nears fruition however, this committee is dissolved and the efforts are supervised by SEELE directly.
